Instructions

Toast the sunflower seeds in a dry pan until fragrant.

Mix the oats, seeds, flour, brown sugar, soda and salt.

Stir in the melted butter and honey until everything is coated.

Press hard into a lined tin — the pressing is what holds the squares together.

Bake at 175C for 24-25 minutes until the edges are dark gold.

Cool completely in the tin before cutting.

Cut while barely warm and they crumble; cut fully cold and they hold clean edges.
