Instructions

Put the sliced lemon into a pot of water on the stovetop. Bring the water to a boil.

Add the shrimp. Cook gently for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are just cooked through.

Drain the shrimp and drop them into a bowl of ice water. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Stir together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire, and hot sauce to make the cocktail sauce.

Spoon the cocktail sauce into the bottom of chilled glasses.

Hang the shrimp by their tails over the rim of each glass around the sauce.
