Instructions

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt.

Rub in the butter until it disappears into the flour.

Add the water and stir to a soft dough; handle it as little as possible.

Pat into a round about 2 cm thick and set in a greased pan.

Cook over a low fire or bake at 200C for 20-25 minutes, turning once if pan-cooking, until browned and hollow-sounding.

Tear and eat hot with butter.
