Soak the dried mahua flowers in warm water for 20 minutes to soften. Drain them well.

Heat a pan and roast the softened mahua flowers without oil for 5 minutes until fragrant. Cool and chop finely.

In the same pan, melt jaggery (unrefined cane sugar) with a splash of water over low heat until it forms a thick syrup.

Add the chopped mahua flowers to the jaggery syrup. Mix everything well.

Gradually stir in the roasted rice flour. Mix until it comes together into a thick, workable dough.

Add ghee (clarified butter) and roasted sesame seeds. Mix thoroughly.

Once the mixture is cool enough to touch safely, shape it into small balls or discs.

Let the sweets set at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
