Instructions

Heat the fat in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until soft.

Add the corn kernels and diced squash. Stir well to coat everything in the fat.

Pour in the water and add the salt. Bring the liquid to a gentle simmer.

Cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 15 minutes until the squash is almost tender.

Stir in the cooked beans. Simmer uncovered for 10 more minutes until the vegetables are tender and liquid reduces.

Taste and add more salt if needed. Serve warm.
