Chef's tips
Soak the bamboo skewers in water for at least 20 minutes so they do not burn on the grill.
Ingredient substitutions
- pork shoulder โ chicken thigh
Storage
Best eaten fresh off the grill; refrigerate leftovers for up to a day.
Reheating
Reheat briefly on a hot pan or grill to restore charred texture.
Common mistakes to avoid
- โขCutting the pork into uneven pieces, which causes some cubes to overcook while others stay raw.
