Instructions

Put the washed rice, coconut milk, water, and salt into a pot.

Heat over medium heat until boiling. Stir it once.

Turn the heat down to low and cover. Simmer for 15โ18 minutes until tender and the liquid is absorbed.

Turn off the heat. Leave the pot covered to rest for 5 minutes.

Gently fluff the rice using a fork.

Drizzle over coconut oil if using. Scatter fresh grated coconut on top before serving.
